Löylyns Spår – Löylyn jäljet – Traces of Steam

I tusentals år har det varma rummet varit en social mötesplats där historier och myter framförts. Bastun är platsen för fysisk rening och återhämtning,  men också en plats där en försökt förklara omvärlden enligt den mänskliga perceptionen. Skogens väsen, den levande naturen, vad som finns i mörkrets skuggor, bastu andarna och bastun som en helig Borg. Denna känsla och dessa tankar har jag försökt vidareförmedla med konstverken här på utställningen samt med min rullande konstbastu kallad Artsauna där jag ordnar olika event med musik, konst och dans, element som passar bra i bastuns värld.

For thousands of years, the warm room has been a social meeting place where stories and myths have been told. The sauna is a place for physical purification and recovery, but also a place where people explain the world around them according to human perception. The essence of the forest, the living nature, what is in the shadows of darkness, the sauna spirits and the sauna as a sacred castle. I have tried to convey this feeling and these thoughts with the artworks here at the exhibition and with my trailersauna called Artsauna where I organize various events with music, art and dance, elements that fit well in the world of the sauna.
